How do you feel in your relationship?

It's a happy, healthy relationship that I believe will last a long time. We certainly have our wild moments and argue from time to time, but I suppose that's to be expected.


The most important thing about her is that she understands me. She has decided to spend the rest of her life with me because she understands who I am. I, like any other person, have certain qualities, attributes, and idiosyncrasies that might irritate others. She doesn't find such things irritating for some reason. I have an anger issue. Because to two things, my girlfriend Jenny and Sara philosophy, that problem has become a lot better in the last year. My job schedule and travel schedules also get a little chaotic, but she doesn't mind because she understands I'm working hard for both of us.

She is a kind yet reserved person by nature. She later told me that she was shocked at herself for accepting my dinner offer when I initially asked her out after she moved in. She apparently found me fascinating and felt compelled to learn more about me. Within 10 minutes, I was head over heels in love, but I think the fact that we loved each other so quickly is a positive indicator.

My lethargy in certain areas drives her insane, and I'm not a fan of her insistence on keeping things in order. That is usually the cause of our quarrels. We always make up within a few hours, so I'm certain that everything will be fine in the future. We share many basic life principles, which I believe will act as a long-term stabilizing factor.


To avoid becoming too sentimental, I miss her a lot when I travel. Getting a morning kiss from her, hugging her before I go, fooling about with her, and the delicious lunches she prepares for me with the message inside. This is the first time I've ever felt this strongly about a lady.


I live to protect and care for her, and she lives to serve. We both value each other's contributions and are optimistic about the future.

I'm looking forward to seeing her again on Friday.

  Why are Men so Selfish? Earlier today, I was discussing with my wife the issue of "why are guys so selfish." It arose as a result of the writer's block I'd been experiencing for several days. We had a wonderful hour-long discussion about this issue, and I can honestly say that putting my ego aside for an hour was eye-opening.
