Why do people like to discover things?

People that are successful have a strong desire to keep learning. It's probably a big part of why they're so successful in the first place. Many highly successful individuals, including entrepreneurs, have an intrinsic yearning for an infinite flow of information. To sate their curiosity, they desire to study and explore new and unusual things.

Just because you're an expert in your field doesn't mean you don't have anything left to learn.

Someone who is an expert at something should not believe that they don't need to learn (or can't be taught) anything else. We may constantly learn something new, and we can frequently learn something new from the most improbable places if we are receptive to it.

It's also beneficial to unlearn something now and again.

A regular, every-day job is offered to each group but is swapped up in some way, such as placing a doorknob on the same side as the hinge of a swing door, in tests with groups of adults and children. The adults will attempt turning the knob and pushing the door a few times before giving up, but the children will keep fiddling with the doorknob and the door in general until they discover that the door swings open when they press the other side.

Not only does formal training/schooling provide education, but it also comes from a variety of other sources.

Obtaining a formal education is extremely essential and beneficial, yet having a degree does not automatically imply being able to work. A lack of a formal education does not imply that someone is incapable of doing a good job. The attributes of successful business professionals that come from more than a formal education include common sense, negotiating skills, sales aptitude, and general business intelligence.

Seek out opportunities to expand your knowledge.

Learning should be viewed as a fun activity. You stay youthful by living a life filled of wonder and a quest for knowledge. In fact, studies have shown that learning and pushing oneself through puzzles, crosswords, and brainteasers can help to delay the onset of Alzheimer's and dementia.

You'll Be Astounded At What You Learn If You Get Out Of Your Comfort Zone.

To prevent yourself from learning, you would have to go through life wearing blinders. Every day, we have opportunity to learn new things in almost everything we do and from everyone we encounter. Shutting yourself off from that in order to stay in your comfort zone stifles your development and limits your existence. You live a better life when you study.

You'll only be more successful if you keep learning new things.

Regardless matter what profession you have, being open to learning new things can help you succeed. If you manage people, then taking this attitude a step further and recognizing that you are not just in your position to assist teach and mentor your employees, but that you can also learn a lot from them, then you are among the top of outstanding managers. It takes the most capable leader to see that they can learn from everyone around them, and that this will lead to greater success in the end.
